Product Description & Application
HMK Wash 1 is a FOGRA & Baldwin approved, aromatic free, water miscible press wash-up concentrate suitable for universal application.

Baldwin approved for sheetfed use.
Clear liquid with low odour and medium evaporation.
Compatible for use with automatic washing devices as well as for manual wash-up application.
Washes rubber rollers, blankets, dampers and metal surfaces.
Absence of aromatic contents reduces the possibility of skin and eye irritation under normal usage conditions.
Rated as a low hazard wash, with a high flash point of 64°C.
Usage Instructions
Blankets
:
Apply the concentrate solution with a damp cloth or sponge to dilute and remove the ink layer. Remove the residue with a clean damp cloth or sponge. Finish with water application and wipe dry.
Inking Rollers
:
Apply concentrate wash from a squeeze bottle to loosen the ink film. Fix the gutter blades and apply HMK Wash 1 pre-mixed with 15% ~ 30% water from a separate squeeze bottle. This gives a complete wash-up which removes ink and water soluble material and rejuvenates the rubber surfaces in one single application. Use of a separate squeeze bottle ensures controlled consumption and minimal skin contact.
Storage, Handling & Packaging

Storage & Handling
:
Protect from direct sunlight. Store at moderate temperatures in a dry, well-ventilated area. Keep the containers tightly closed when not in use. The use of gloves is recommended while handling petroleum hydrocarbon based press washes.

:
5, 20 & 210 litres.
Precautions
:
Keep away from sources of heat, sparks, open flames and static electricity charges. Post wash-up application of plain water is recommended as a finishing step for complete removal of the residue. Unattended build-up of residue over a prolonged duration could cause ink transfer problems.
