Product Description & Application
NovaEtchGum is a specialty dual-purpose etching and desensitising gum solution for clearing filled-up images.
Features & Benefits
Ready-to-use acidic solution.
Removes ink fill-up and opens up the half tones, especially the shadow dot areas, safely without damaging the image areas.
Removes mild scum and thoroughly desentises the non-image areas, preventing further scum.
Easy to apply and buff down.
Eliminates the need for wet washing the plates during machine start-up.
Usage Instructions
Shake the container vigorously. Disengage the formed rollers from contact with the plate and apply the solution using clean lint-free cloth or sponge.
Work the solution in the filled-up image areas for a few seconds.
Wipe off the loosened ink and fluff.
Buff down to thin layer without streaks using a clean lint-free cloth.
During press re-start, charge the damper rollers for a few revolutions before charging the plate with ink.

Protect from heat and direct sunlight. Store at moderate temperatures in a dry, well-ventilated area. Keep the containers tightly closed when not in use.
