Product Description & Application
NovaKeepGum is a premium storage gum for long duration plate preservation.
Features & Benefits
Protects and keeps the plates desensitised during prolonged storage.
Equally effective on fresh and used plate surfaces.
Eliminates dried-up gum streaks.
Easily dissolves in water even after prolonged storage.
Usage Instructions
Clean the plate surface thoroughly to remove all traces of printing ink and other residue.
Ink-up the image areas of the plate using a non-drying ink such as NovaInk P.
Rinse the plate with fresh water and remove excess water.
Remove the plate from the wet tray and place on a flat, dry and clean surface
Apply NovaKeepGum using a clean lint-free cloth or cotton without loose fibres.
Buff down to a thin layer, free of streaks, using a dry, lint-free cloth.
Fan dry the surface and cover the plate with an absorbent paper.
For prolonged storage, the plate should be stored vertically, away from moisture and sources of heat.
Prior to re-use, wash the plate thoroughly with water and apply fresh desensitising gum.

Protect from heat and direct sunlight. Store at moderate temperatures in a dry, well-ventilated area. Keep the containers tightly closed when not in use.
